So delicious

Oh No! trackers!

Just turn off cookies in your browser settings!!!

Knowing you, you're either lusting for the cookie itself or the corpulent women that eat them by the box.

I'm not going to confirm nor deny the presumption, but a good part of the motive behind drawing these was to experiment and figure out a lineless rendering style in Flash 8. Let's not get too weird, lol.

@Nabella That's a valid reason, honestly. I love experimenting with my animation software, too, and I would imagine a cookie is a good way to test such things (not so complicated for testing purposes like an entire character or background illustration, but adding the cookie lumps and chocolate chips is a fun and easy way to add detail to a basic brown circle and test textures or whatever).

Also just realized you are referring to a very, very old version of Flash, not Adobe Animate CC. the software really has stagnated since Adobe bought it, hasn't it, if Flash 8 is still as viable, if not more so, than the bloated subscription version on the Creative Cloud?

Flash 8 seems to be popular amongst a number of amateur online artists (myself included apparently) for being stupid easy to pirate and install while also having a lot of the basics needed to make a digital animation. Flash CS6 is also very popular for the same reasons with the addition of having almost all of the modern features of Adobe AnimateCC without most of the jank.

Adobe AnimateCC being a buggy mess is no longer a stereotype but an actual truth heralded by frequent users. If I'm remembering correctly, some longtime animators or programmers like Zuerel, Tyler Glaiel, or Jazza have gone out of their way to express their discontent with AnimateCC. Tyler Glaiel in particular has shared some videos where he showcases bugs and the asinine things he does to workaround them. Dug through his Twitter to find this particular highlight once again:

At this point, it's more sensible to pick up Blender or any of the modern alternatives. I really need to get on that as Flash is looking more and more like a dead end.

@Nabella Blender is great for 3D. Downloading an offline version of Wick Editor, probably the closest FOSS alternative to Flash right now, would be a good substitute for Flash 8 and vector 2D animation. If you want a more traditional, "old school" look for your 2D animations, Krita is probably the best raster-based 2D animation (and illustration!) FOSS program right now.
