This silent 3 second loop doesn't really look like an episode, it just looks like a preview or sneak peek of something in production.

I dig your style, but was mp4/mov/wmv really the only format you could export this animation? This could work better as a gif!

Oh! I accidentally posted the wrong clip! The clip you see is actually a very small scene in the full episode, and it happened to be an mp4. I meant to post a short animation that was 5fps that shows the fish crossing their arms. The full 1:48 minute episode is on my YouTube channel “Cattle Choir Animation”!

(Also this is my first day on newgrounds so I’m still tryna figure stuff out lol)

Man, this is really smooth. I can read Pico's lips perfectly. "Get down!" Nice!

However, since it's a silent 1 second loop, it didn't feel that different from viewing it as a gif in the Art Portal. Was mp4 really the best format to export this animation?

Thank you so much I really appreciate it! and I'm not exactly the best at figuring out how Newgrounds work, I guess I really could have converted it into a gif, but I wasn't exactly sure if it would have messed with my frames. I'll definitely keep that in mind next time! ^^ Thank you for letting me know!

This is a really good 1 second. His little, "yes" before falling was very good. I also like how his legs and arms did a little bounce after his main body hit the ground. A lot of action was packed into this.

Despite that though, I don't see how this movie would be any different from posting it as a gif in the Art Portal. Was mp4 really the only way you could export this animation?

This is nice, but also very short! I feel like a soundless looping test animation like this would fit better as a gif in the Art Portal or in a compilation of other animations you've made.

While the lineart of the Flash brush is good, the animation of the character's main body appears stiff without the use of some easing in your motion tweens or incorporation of more frame-by-frame stuff.

Still nice for a first try, though. Good luck with your future Flash attempts.

I really appreciate your review, and I think all of your points were spot on. I think I'm going to post longer animations that I've already done while I work on something longer with sound. I'll try to use more frame by frame there and I'll put more easing in the tweens I do use. Once again, thank you for the review :)

Dude, I have a weakness for sharp pixel aesthetic mixed with real images of things. Gives me MSPA or early flash vibes.

Writing and timing really carried this. Good job!
