Awful Fawful used to be a YouTubePooper known for their crazy editing skills, trippy storytelling, and psychedelic visuals until recently. For the past 2(?) years they've been dabbling with actual animation in order to finally avoid vicious copyright strikes on their parody work and to also produce original animated shorts. Give their stuff a chance, it'll be worth it, I promise!

I've been quiet for awhile, but I assure you I have not been doing nothing during this downtime. I've been dabbling with AS2 lately in hopes of preparing something small for the upcoming Flash Jam this coming January. I missed out last year and I think it would suck to miss out on the second one.

If nothing comes out of this dabbling, you guys have my full permission to not take anything I say to heart.

It's pretty good, and I can't stand that it's likely going to stay under 10k views because YouTube is stinky and lame.

Also, while you're at it, take a look at this animation here, too. I tried sharing this in the General Forum and a few other websites 7 months ago and it's *STILL* somehow under 10k views. Give it a watch and share it with your peers. It took this guy two years to finish it.

I drew this when I joined in on the last 10 minutes of the NGP Summer Block Party 2021 Drawpile. Everyone was practically gone at that point and only two people got to see it, so I figured I might as well share it here, too.

Trying out animation software outside of Flash 8 and Flipnote 3D. GraphicsGale is much more tedious to use than Flipnote for small gifs because (as far as I know currently) you need to manually add layers for every frame you add and turn off transparency for all frames when you finish. There's probably a setting or preference option I haven't discovered yet that let's every new frame automatically start with a set number of layers, so maybe I'm just making things more complicated than they need to be...

Conveniently, though, it's much easier to share raw animation files because they are so small! Feel free to download, view, and edit them to your heart's content!

I haven't been as active on here as I'd like to be lately and although it may seem like I'm not doing anything, I still do try to draw in-between these quiet periods. In an attempt to make things more lively here, I've been thinking about sharing rough digital/pencil doodles I've made that never really went anywhere.

Would you guys be interested in seeing more?
