This looks pretty damn solid to me. If anything is needed, I would say you'd need an extra separate page with loose drawings of the character acting using their full body.

Well, they were inspired after I watched Onibaba (1964). I wanted to make a western version. Instead of 2 women killing samurai in their swamp, it's 2 women killing soldiers in their bayou.
After looking at some of your other stuff again, I'm curious to know: Do you start all of your drawings as a traditional sketch and do the inks and colours digitally? Or is your process sometimes all digital?

No, it is elaborate system of internal locks that requires 2 scientists turning their keys at the same time and Pearl's final confirmation. But Pearl can bypass that and activate it all herself. A major oversight (but it's okay, she won't do it).
If she trips or bounces around, it's okay.
This isn't too dissimilar from trying to eat chap stick because it smells nice.
