I'm surprised to see this get a Steam release after only two months on Newgrounds. Have you gotten to play the big updated version yourself?

i have gotten to play it! i really like a lot of what zizous put in both from what ive been able to play and from the development snippets ive seen, cant wait for everyone to see it

It's muddy and took me a few glances to differentiate the lake from the land, but those human errors and brush strokes appeal to me greatly.

Thanks! When I looked the next day, I realized I should have left some of the land darker and not gone so white over the centre of the pond. Landscapes aren't my regular thing but I had fun mashing the paint into the canvas, nonetheless. I'm a big fan of leaving the brushwork as-is, and not blending or smoothing after I place my colour down.

I wish I could be as cool as this guy, damn.

Bro, I don't completely understand digital brushes myself so this is basically magic to me despite it looking so simple.

Have you ever considered doing small organic environments? Or just simple simple still lifes? Your textured brushes would look nice on a plant, I bet.
