I can't believe you would just end it on a cliffhanger like that.

Like my friend Dedu said, "It's not just about what happened, it's also about why it happened"! :)
I had to end it somehow. The planned story was 3 times larger and there was no way to complete it before the deadline for Flash Forward 2025. I had to sacrifice something, and I decided to make a good smaller game than a game with a complete story but having stickmen as characters.
This was my first visual novel and I thought it would be a walk in the park, but now I know better! Thank you for your comment and rating!
It's too much for my little goldfish brain.
S'alright. I find it a bit odd that the bottom half of the screen is essentially dead space. Is that from an earlier iteration of this game before you had to scale it back?
The bottom half of the screen is where the touch controls appear when playing on mobile!
You have no idea how glad I am to see a submission in this jam that does its own thing with clean vector art, interesting writing, and unique game mechanics instead of relying solely on old Flash aesthetics and nostalgia to sell itself. Flash as a medium isn't as limited in the same way retro computers/consoles like the NES or Commodore 64 were, so there's more wiggle room to be experimental and make something truly special.
I love internet cornography.
lol
Made me lol at 2:30 am.
How did make the sounds? Is there a method in Actionscript that let's you pitch up a single sound or did you have to individually import every note into the program?
I just didn't sport every note and improved its quality
I hate those snails so damn much.
